What an ice storm on the way to Chicago... what a foggy night on the way home... first person at Chinese consulate told me they did not like the paperwork, I need to go back to Iowa and find the notary and have them redo... went back to different person and they said it was fine. Picked it up @ 2 and headed home through the fog, arriving in the evening after the possibility of overnight envelopes, but got the dossier out this morning to our agency in Virginia. They will send it on to Beijing on Friday. Will breathe a massive sigh of relief when we get LID. Then 5-6 month wait, according to our family coordinator, before we can travel to get our boys. Was hoping for the spring, but looks like July to August at this point. Still, just happy to have the dossier done and on its way.
